A model inspired by traditional crown shapes, the Amos stands out for its extremely clean and rigorous design. The crown can be modelled for a truly personalised styling. 



Made by hand by our master hatters using premium rabbit felt or Ecuadorian straw, this hat has a generous brim ending in a small raw-cut vertical edge, heat-moulded directly in the hat-modelling stage using its specific mould, which gives it a unique mark of style.

All our hats are handcrafted in Biella: please allow 2 to 3 weeks for delivery.

Clean and sleek, the Amos puts a traditional inspiration firmly on Barbisio’s contemporary path, drawing a line that combines exquisite crafting with unprecedented inventions with a rigorous design and unexpected details that make the difference.

  



CARE

Looking after your Barbisio felt hat can increase its longevity. Brush it regularly with a soft-bristled brush in a counter-clockwise direction. To clean it, use steam from your iron, making sure it doesn’t touch the hat, or treat it with a warm, damp cotton cloth. Wipe the leather sweatband, if it has one, with a sponge and a little Marseille soap. Store in a dry place, using a product to keep moths away. Never put your Barbisio hat in the washing machine, as it will lose its shape and shrink.
