The Paloma is an iconic hat designed to introduce an unexpected, oversize style full of attitude to the world of headwear. A deeply individual style that is set to shake up the very idea of what hats can be.

Made by hand by our master hatters using a single block of premium natural fibres—either beaver felt, Brisa weave Ecuadorian straw or woven plant-based ramie silk—this hat has a plastic form that tells a very personal story. The generous brim expresses at best the characteristics of the material, which are pushed to their technical limits.

All our hats are handcrafted in Biella: please allow 2 to 3 weeks for delivery.

CARE

Looking after your Barbisio felt hat can increase its longevity. Brush it regularly with a soft-bristled brush in a counter-clockwise direction. To clean it, use steam from your iron, making sure it doesn’t touch the hat, or treat it with a warm, damp cotton cloth. Wipe the leather sweatband, if it has one, with a sponge and a little Marseille soap. Store in a dry place, using a product to keep moths away. Never put your Barbisio hat in the washing machine, as it will lose its shape and shrink.
